Parvia — Terms of Use
Effective date: July 10, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Parvia mobile application ("Parvia", the "app", "we", "us"), operated by Dewy Creative Group LLC. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Parvia is a voice-based language practice app. You speak in a language you are learning, and an AI tutor responds with spoken audio and text to help you practice conversation, alongside a vocabulary flashcard feature. Parvia has no user accounts.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Parvia. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.
License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial language practice. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you may not use it in any way that infringes the rights of others or violates any law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the app or its backend services in a way that is abusive, automated, or intended to overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Attempt to bypass usage limits, security, or access controls, or use the service other than through the app itself.
Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, or that you do not have the right to submit.
We may suspend or limit access to the service to protect it from abuse or misuse.
AI-generated content
The tutor's replies, translations, corrections, and other language content are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a given situation, and are provided for language-practice purposes only. Parvia is not a substitute for a professional translator, interpreter, teacher, or any professional advice. Do not rely on the app for high-stakes, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical communication.
Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription ("Parvia Pro").
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through your device account, not directly by us. We use RevenueCat to check subscription status.
Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's account settings (App Store or Google Play). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies; we do not process payments and generally cannot issue refunds directly.
Any free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends, per the terms shown at purchase.
Third-party services
To provide the app, we rely on third-party providers, including Google Cloud (speech-to-text), Anthropic (AI replies), ElevenLabs (text-to-speech), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple and Google (distribution and billing). Your use of the app is also subject to those providers' applicable terms. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its original content (excluding AI-generated conversation output and third-party materials) are owned by Dewy Creative Group LLC and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its language content will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dewy Creative Group LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app or its services if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
